Liquor home delivery in Maharashtra to begin from

The Delhi government on May 7 launched an e-token portal for liquor sale to ensure social distancing and prevent overcrowding at liquor shops in the national capital. Those who want to buy liquor can now avoid long queues by applying for an e-token the official website - https://www.qtoken.in.

While applying, the name and phone number of the applicant will be required and the e-coupon will be sent at the registered mobile number. The person can nearby shops with e-token to buy liquor.

How to apply for liquor purchase e-token in Delhi?

1. Open the official website - https://www.qtoken.in
2. Click on Apply for Liquor Purchase Token link
3. Enter your name, phone number to get e-token through SMS
4. Take the e-token to the nearby shop to purchase liquor

Note that only 160 liquor shops are opened in Delhi and only 50 people per hour will be allowed to take the token.

Delhi e-token website crashed within few hours of its launch on Thursday. When checked at 2.30 PM on Friday, the website was still showing 'Server Error (500)'. As per Delhi govt authorities, the error is due to heavy rush on the website and it will be resolved soon.
